Kristen Stewart Remembers James Gandolfini
James Gandolfini, the great actor best known for his role as, ‘Tony Soprano’ died seven days ago while on vacation with his son in Italy. He died after suffering a heart attack in the bathroom of the hotel room he was sharing with is son. The death was a shock to everyone in the entertainment world, including Kristen Stewart.
Stewart starred with James back in 2009 for the film, ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ in which she played a stripper who James’ character tries to save while trying to cope with the death of his child. Stewart released a statement to Entertainment Weekly and had this to say about the talented actor…
“When I heard of James’ passing I was in New Orleans, where we met shooting, and every memory flooded back and gutted me. I’ll hold that time near to me forever. He was immeasurably great. My heart goes out to his beloved family.”
She obviously respected James a lot and it seemed like James had a lot of respect for her, as well. The actor told Variety that Kristen’s performance in, ‘On The Road’ was outstanding,
“Kristen Stewart is one of the mad ones. But mad in a beautiful way. And she is determined to make people mad. To show them she is more than Bella in ‘Twilight.’ To show them she does burn, and smolder, and wants more out of her career and life. And smolder she does.”
I agree, but I hope he wasn’t trying to hate on Twilight. Team Edward forever <3
