Miley Cyrus Says Britney Spears “Gets It”

If you think about it, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears aren’t really all that different. They both sing well enough to get by, they dance, they both became famous at a young age and they both shaved off most of their hair.

So, when Miley Cyrus told The Huffington Post recently that Britney Spears is the, “one person in (her) life who gets it.” We kind of understand where she is coming from .

The 20-year-old talked about the similarities between Britney’s career and hers,

“Everyone goes through a time in their life where they don’t want their picture taken everyday. She just never had that time where she could say, ’I’m going through something right now and need to shut down!’

I also don’t have that, so it’s good to have that one person in my life who gets it.”

She was also asked if Britney has been some kind of role model for her,

“I just think it’s never blaming you or you making you feel like, ‘you’ve got all this going for you.’ It’s like she knows. Sometimes life just steps in the middle of your career the way life always does for anyone. It’s just ours is a little more 24/7.”

Is it just me, or does it seem like the celebrities who complain about being in the spotlight the most are the same celebrities who are ALWAYS talking to the media? Every damn day, Miley Cyrus is talking to some newspaper or magazine.

If you want to “get away” from it all, then go get away from it! Go to some small country town and ride a f–king horse all day long. It’s hard to take all this complaining seriously when she throws herself into the spotlight all of the damn time.
