Joe Jonas Drug Addiction To Blame For Cancelled Jonas Brothers Tour?

As we reported to you almost two weeks ago, The Jonas Brothers cancelled their entire 19-date tour just days before it was expected to start. We learned last week from People magazine that a “deep rift within the band” was to blame for the cancellation.

However, could there be something more to this? Could the cancelled tour be due to Joe Jonas’ secret addiction to drugs? Well, it’s certainly a possibility. Joe Jonas was spotted hanging out with addiction specialist Mike Bayer recently. Mike has worked with celebrities in the past, including Demi Lovato.

And now there is a new report coming out of Star magazine that backs up the drug addiction rumors. A source told the magazine the following…

“He’s been dealing with substance abuse issues for quite some time. The tour would have never survived with how Joe was behaving. At this point, Nick and Kevin don’t care what is going on with the band, they just want to see their brother healthy. They’ve had discussions with Joe about their fears for him and the importance of getting help.”

We should note that it’s entirely possible this Star magazine story is completely false. And it’s also entirely possible that Joe could just simply be friends with this Mike Bayer dude. However, the fact that the Jonas Brothers continue to remain quiet on the matter is suspicious.

If he is struggling with a drug addiction, it will come out eventually.
