Lamar Odom Signs Two-Month Contract With Spanish Basketball Team
Lamar Odom is well on his way to getting his life back on track. After having a terrible 2013, Odom has been working hard to stay clean. He’s been spending most of his time at the gym and on the basketball court. As you all know, the 34-year-old was hoping to get on with an NBA team, but that never did happen.
However, Odom has finally found a team willing to take a chance on him. The former Los Angeles Lakers forward has signed a two-month contract with a basketball team in Spain.
The team’s name is Laboral Kutxa and his two-month deal does come with an option to extend the deal for the rest of the season. Typically, when a former NBA star signs a deal like this, it contains out clauses that allow the player to return to the NBA if a spot opens up.

We’ll be monitoring how well Odom plays for his new team in Spain. There have been several NBA players who have made a successful return to the NBA after playing in Spain, so we certainly wouldn’t count Lamar Odom out.
We wish him the best!
