Heigl Having Money Trouble?

Katherine Heigl, a once much in demand star who could ask as much as $15,000,000 for a film, is reportedly having some money trouble.

Her latest picture, a indie flick called Jenny’s Wedding, is coming short of the funding it needs on Indiegogo in order to continue production,. When asked if she would be willing to kick in the additional $110,000 it would need to finish, Heigl reported;

“I haven’t made that much in the last few years, man. I gotta support my family.”

Heigl hasn’t been pulling in the same box office numbers as she used to. Her films “One for the Money” and “the Big Wedding”, both performed poorly and she was refused a shot to return to Grey’s Anatomy after her big screen career failed to pan out.

Could it be that the reports of her being difficult to work with are finally coming back to bite her? At the height of the difficult star rumors, one high profile producer reportedly said “she’s just not worth it,” when asked if he would be willing to work with her.

Heigl might have been better off if she’d never left the small screen.
