Judd Apatow And Louis C.K. Ask TMZ To Remove Video Of Tracy Morgan Crash
Like most people in the world, Louis C.K. and Judd Apatow are disgusted with just how far TMZ is willing to take things. As most of you know, the gossip website has a video showing the horrible aftermath of the Tracy Morgan car crash.
A comedian by the name of Ardie Fuqua was critically injured in the crash, and his daughter pleaded with TMZ to take the video down. The disturbing video shows her unconscious father being pulled from the wreckage.
[more…]“I honestly would like to petition for TMZ to remove this video. I understand people want to know and people want to be updated, but enough is enough. This is hurting my heart so bad that this video is posted for all to see.”
TMZ didn’t listen to her request, so now Judd Apatow and Louis C.K. are doing their part.
Judd Apatow also got in on the action by retweeting the tweets you see above. He also sent a message directly to Harvey Levin.
We just went over to the TMZ website, and the video is still up on their site. It’s still early, so maybe they will do the right thing later in the day. It would be one thing if it was just Louis and Judd asking them to take the video down.
But it’s Ardie’s daughter who originally made the request. Her father is fighting for his life in a hospital room after being in a deadly car accident, is it really that difficult to respect their privacy?
Have a heart, Harvey. We understand how difficult that is for you, but you can do it. We believe in you.
