Joan Rivers Condition Worsens, Melissa Rivers might be Forced to make the biggest Decision of her life.

While we are all trying to enjoy the Labor Day festivities, the Rivers family is clutching to hope. Sometime over the last 24 hours, Joan Rivers’ condition has worsened.

After we reported that she was placed in a medically induced coma, she now has been placed on life support.

Although the hospital has failed to provide a formal update, a source close to Joan has been providing media outlets such as the Daily News and the Daily Mail with updates.  The latest report from such said, “source” indicated that Joan is now relying on machines to stay alive and the situation is coming down to the family deciding to turn the machines off or not.

After Friday’s detailed report of the situation, we all hoped that she would awaken from the coma and be on the road to full recovery.  This appears to not be the case.

People close to Melissa are suggesting that she has not come to terms with the severity of her mom’s condition, stating that she is in denial. Meanwhile Melissa, who is now staying in the same building as her mom’s apartment, has released another statement to the press,

‘My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world.

‘Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery.’

This latest statement does nothing to address the rumors of life support machines or indicate that Melisa Rivers, as the only child, could possibly be making the decision to keep her mom on life support or not.
