Cee Lo Green Deletes Twitter Account After Suggesting It’s Only Rape If The Person Is Conscious
When I heard that Cee Lo Green deleted his Twitter account, I figured it was just to give his unusually short arms and tiny fingers a rest. But it now appears his extreme stupidity forced him to delete his account.
The 39-year-old singer pleaded no contest to a felony charge for allegedly slipping a woman ecstasy without her consent. The woman involved in the incident claims she woke up next to Green, unsure of what happened the night before. His lawyer claims everything that happened was consensual.
A few days after the hearing, Cee Lo Green decided not enough people hate him, so he went on his Twitter account to defend himself. “If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously.” He tweeted. He then added this gem, “People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!”
What the f–k, Cee Lo? I don’t remember being 4-years-old. Does that mean I didn’t have a childhood? Was I born in the 3rd grade? Did I weigh 60 pounds when I came out of my mother? Was my first meal steak fingers and mashed potatoes?
After getting destroyed by his followers, the singer tried his best to apologize and then deleted his account.
“Let me 1st praise god for exoneration fairness & freedom! Secondly I sincerely apologize for my comments being taken so far out of context. I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this. Please forgive me as it was your support that got me thru this to begin with. I’d never condone the harm of any women. Thank you.”
