Rumor No More! ‘Full House’ Revival Confirmed By John Stamos, Netflix Orders 13 Episodes!
We have been warning you about this for a few months now, and we are happy to report that it is finally coming true. Netflix made the long-rumored news official yesterday. The streaming service has ordered a 13-episode season of Fuller House.
Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) was on Jimmy Kimmel last night to celebrate the exciting news. He shared a little more information about the show, revealing it will start with a one-hour reunion special, and then it will fly straight into the land of spin-offs. The series will star D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure) and her three children, along with neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), and of course Stephanie Tanner played by Jodie Sweetin.
Okay, so that’s nice and all, right? But you want more details. We can see it in your eyes! The good news is we can give you a little more information about this spin-off.
We know that D.J. is now a pregnant veterinarian and recently widowed. Stephanie, who has dreams of becoming a famous musician, moves in to help out her big sister. And then of course you have the lovable Kimmy. She is a single mother with a teenage daughter named Ramona, who will apparently act just like her mother did when she was a kid.
It will definitely be a “fuller house” as they all move in to help D.J. take care of 12-year-old J.D., neurotic 7-year-old Max, plus, you can’t forget about her soon-to-arrive baby!
Sounds like it will be an interesting show. Stamos claims they have been working hard at this for several years, so it better not suck! The show will premiere on Netflix in 2016.
