Good Guy J.J. Watt Dresses Up As Batman, Crashes Halloween Party At Texas Children’s Hospital (VIDEO)

As a celebrity gossip website, we don’t typically get to report a lot of good news. Mainly because people seem to enjoy bad news, but also because celebrities seem to make a lot of mistakes.

But for you folks out there who do crave good news, J.J. Watt has arrived to save the day. The 26-year-old superstar football player for the Houston Texans seems to be one of the nicest dudes in the NFL. Even after landing that HUGE contract, he still seems to be a normal dude who loves making people smile.

And he made several kids smile recently when he showed up at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston for a special Halloween event. But he didn’t come to the event dressed as J.J. Watt the football player.

He was dressed as Batman…

He signed autographs, posed for several photos, played games, helped decorate a pumpkin, and probably made hundreds of kids and their families smile. And during an interview with NBC, he explained what keeps him motivated to do the right thing…

I know what it’s like to be a fan. I know what it’s like to be a kid who looks up to football players and I just want to be that guy that parents can point to and say, ‘He does it the right way.’

I think it’s safe to say there are parents all over the country telling their kids that. He’s handling his superstar status the right way, and it’s incredibly refreshing to see.
