Lamar Odom Has At Least One Emergency Surgery, Sources Say He’s In “Fragile” Mental State

It’s been the week of Lamar Odom here in Gossip Land. He’s the story everyone wants to talk about, and sadly things are ending on a slightly negative note. He has still improved A LOT since last Friday; however, what happened yesterday makes it clear his recovery will be a long one.

Sources inside the hospital claim Odom had one (maybe two) emergency surgeries yesterday. The details of the surgery are not known at this time, but the procedure reportedly involved his chest, which makes some people believe it might have had something to do with his heart or lungs. That’s just speculation though. The only thing we can confirm is that a surgery did happen.

We also can confirm that the hospital placed a “no visitors allowed” rule on his room. Only Khloe Kardashian was allowed inside his room yesterday. Partly because of the surgery, but also because he’s in a “fragile mental state” and doctors don’t want to put him under any more added stress. As you can imagine, it’s been an incredibly difficult week for Odom.

Back on Tuesday morning, Khloe wrote a statement on her website, thanking everyone for their support and prayers…

You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!

We have been doing this celebrity gossip game for years now, but this has to be one of the craziest stories ever. And not just the events that happened this past week.

Just a few months ago, Odom was accused of stalking Khloe! She was seen yelling at him outside of a gym early in the morning. And then when cameras caught up with Odom, he claimed the whole thing was a set-up by the Kardashian family. They wanted to make him look crazy.

At that time, it looked like there was a 0% chance of Khloe and Lamar getting back together. But then he almost dies inside a freaking brothel, which somehow convinces Khloe to take him back and call off their divorce.
