Ryan Lochte Rushed By Protesters During Debut On Dancing With The Stars: “It Felt Like Someone Ripped My Heart Out” (VIDEO)
Was this the scariest moment ‘Dancing With The Stars‘ has seen? Possibly. And that’s saying a lot because the show has featured David Hasselhoff attempting to dance. During the season 23 premiere of the show last night, two men wearing anti-Lochte shirts rushed the stage as Ryan and his dancing partner Cheryl Burke were listening to feedback from the judges.
The two protesters rushed the stage, and security guards were quick to tackle them down to the ground and escort them out of the building. In the clip above, you can hear judge Carrie Ann Inaba yell at the protesters, “Excuse me! Hey, back off! Excuse me!”
They quickly cut to a commercial, and when they returned, Lochte and the entire crew at DWTS made the incident seem like the worst that has ever happened in the history of the world.
Lochte told Tom Bergeron the following…
“So many feelings are going through my head right now. A little hurt, but I came out here, and I wanted to do something that I’m completely not comfortable with.”
And after the show, the swimmer really turned up the emotion by telling reporters, “It’s hard. It felt like someone reached inside and ripped my heart out and stepped on it.”
Really, bruh? It feels like someone ripped out your heart? What the hell. Did you see the two dudes who rushed the stage? The scariest thing about them were their receding hairlines. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were paid actors.
It’s great for ratings. Everyone is talking about it this morning.
