Regis Philbin Just Dropped A Bombshell, Claims Kelly Ripa Hasn’t Talked To Him Since He Left The Show! (VIDEO)

Yes, we are doing a story about Regis Philbin. We are just as surprised as you are, but trust us when we tell you this is some juicy stuff.

Regis left Live with Regis and Kelly six years ago. He retired in 2011 and it was huge news at the time. After all, he and Kelly Ripa had been together on the show for 10 years. She joined in 2001. For 10 years they spent nearly every morning together.

The search for a new co-host was extensive. After much debate, they hired Michael Strahan in 2012. And as most of you should know, he left the show last May to work on Good Morning America full time. When he left, there was some controversy because Kelly claimed she was blindsided by his departure.

When he left, there was definitely some bad blood between them, and now we are learning the same thing happened when Regis left.

Kelly took his departure personally and has not talked to him since he decided to retire. We know this because the 85-year-old TV legend sat down for an interview with Larry King earlier this week. King asked Philbin if he still kept in touch with Ripa.

“Not really, no. Never once did they ask me to go back. She got very offended when I left. She thought I was leaving because of her. I was leaving because I was getting older, and it wasn’t right for me anymore.” 

That’s crazy. I can’t imagine spending so much time with someone and then just cutting them off completely. Hell, Regis hosted the show for 28 years! AND THEY HAVEN’T ASKED HIM TO COME BACK? That’s some bulls*t.

But hey, there is good news. Regis looks pretty freaking good for 85-years-old. Dude is still going strong.
