We Have Video Of Harrison Ford’s Scary Incident At Airport, Watch As His Single-Engine Plane Almost Collides With An American Airlines Jetliner
We know Harrison Ford loves flying, but he might want to take a break from it for a while. You may remember back in 2015 when Ford crashed at a golf course in Los Angeles after the World War II–era plane he was flying had engine trouble.
He had some serious injuries and had to stay in the hospital for over a week.
Now the 74-year-old actor almost had another incident, and this one could have ended his life. As you can see in the video at the top of this page, Ford’s yellow, single-engine Aviat Husky just barely missed smacking right into an American Airlines jetliner.
The incident happened at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California, one day before Valentine’s Day. The American Airlines flight was carrying 110 passengers and six crew members.
An investigation is currently taking place. The Federal Aviation Administration told Us Weekly that Ford landed in an area he wasn’t cleared to land.
“According to an air traffic control recording released last week, the Star Wars actor was heard asking, ‘Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?’ as controllers informed him that he had landed on the taxiway.”
Ford might want to keep his feet on the ground for a few weeks.
