Charlamagne Tha God Calls Out Drake On His Engagement Ring Necklace: “It’s Maniac Behavior”

Drake has been making some enemies online recently. First for his questionable support of Tory Lanez, who allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot, and second for his bizarre engagement-ring necklace.

For those who missed it, jewelry designer Alex Moss shared a video of his latest creation for Drake, a necklace made up of 42 engagement rings, 351.38 carats in diamonds. It took 14 months to create the piece because the diamonds were carefully hand selected. According to some reports, the necklace is worth over $12 million.

The piece was to remind Drake of all the times he thought about proposing to a woman, but never did.

It’s a pretty disgusting display of extreme wealth, but there’s another angle to this as well… Drake has thought about proposing to over 40 women???

First of all, this is maniac behavior. Drake, seriously, you have to let that hurt go. Most of us, unless we’re J.Lo, find one, maybe two people that we want to propose to in a lifetime, but you had 42 different women that you wanted to propose to? And why do you buy a new ring every time? Why not buy one really good ring and wait until you find one really good woman to give it to, okay?

All valid questions. It’s obviously Drake is viewing this as some sort of flex, but I mean… it just seems sad to me.

This grown a** man can’t think of a better way to spend $12 million? That’s a red flag.
