Kris Jenner Explains Why She Cheated On Her Late Husband Robert Kardashian With Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner

Some of you probably don’t remember, but before Kris Jenner made Kylie and Kendall with Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner, she was married to powerful attorney Robert Kardashian, who sadly passed away back in 2003.

Kris famously cheated on Robert with Caitlyn, and she hasn’t really talked too much about the infidelity.

But during a recent episode of The Kardashians, the 67-year-old reality star was asked by Khloe why she cheated on her dad, in a desperate attempt to understand Tristan Thompson’s penchant for cheating.

Kris explained that she was “really young and dumb” and she feels comfortable using that as an excuse because being young “really plays into it because you don’t understand the consequences of your actions.”

The answer wasn’t good enough for Khloe, so she pressed her mom, “But what was my dad not doing that made you want to look elsewhere?”

Kris’s response?

I don’t know because he was such a great husband and such a great dad, and I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else, and I made a huge mistake. That’s my life’s biggest regret. I’m not proud of the way I behaved during that time, but you know what? Everything happens for a reason.

She and Robert were married from 1978 until 1991. Together, they had Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Robert Jr.

Her and Caitlyn got married back in 1991 and divorced in 2014. The following year is when Bruce transitioned into Caitlyn.
