Police believe that Loibl was a deranged fan but they are still confirming as investigations are underway to review his cellphone and computer. Loibl was from a town called St. Petersburg, who took the 2 hour drive to Orlando specifically to kill Grimmie.
As you can imagine, fans and the public at large are outraged. Loibl’s parents put up a make-shift cheesy sign on their door as I’m sure they are being bombarded with authorities and the media. Here is a look at the note:

Grimmie was only 22 years old. The New Jersey native came in 3rd place back in 2014’s season of the hit show “The Voice”.
The incident occurred after her concert at the Plaza Live Theater in Florida. She was backstage signing autographs at a meet and greet when she was shot by a gunman. Reports state that gunman had two guns and let off 4 or 5 shots. Grimmie’s brother tackled the gunman who then turned the gun on himself. The gunman died at the scene and no others were shot.
Christina was then rushed to the Orlando Regional Medical center but did not make it. Her death has been confirmed by her publicist at 2:45 AM. and a statement was released,
It is with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord. She was shot at her show in Orlando and, unfortunately, didn’t survive the gun shot wounds,

Witnesses say they heard four or five gunshot wounds and The Dailymail confirmed that one of the shots was to Christina’s head. There were reports that she was possibly hit 3 times.
There has been no additional information on the gunman. We do not know if the two have had a history, if she was a stalker or if there was any connection at all, but when we find out we will be posting updates to our Facebook page.
