Alec Baldwin Arrested For Riding A Bike In New York City? (PHOTOS)

Want to hear something strange? Alec Baldwin was apparently arrested this morning in New York, and it had NOTHING to do with him beating up some annoying paparazzo!

According to initial reports, the 56-year-old actor was arrested for riding his bicycle the wrong way, and for not having proper identification on him.

Page Six reports the following…

“Alec was riding his bicycle the wrong way on Fifth Avenue this morning and, when he was stopped by police, he didn’t have ID, so he was handcuffed and arrested. It is not known where he is now or if he is still in police custody.”

Sounds incredibly silly, right? So silly that we wouldn’t even believe it if there weren’t photo evidence.

We are sure the details of this incident will change, but as of right now, it looks like Baldwin’s temper got him in trouble again.

“The officers approached him and told him that he was riding the wrong way on the street and asked him for ID. But he didn’t have any ID on him. He then began to act belligerent to police.”

According to the New York Daily News, Baldwin was issued summonses for riding his bike the wrong way and disorderly conduct. He was released a short time later.

What a strange story. You wouldn’t think the cops would arrest someone for riding the wrong way on the street. He had to say something that pissed them off, right? Or maybe they were just really bored and wanted something to do.
