Lil Wayne Is on Seizure Meds. Rapper Reveals Health Issues to MTV [video]
Back in October, Lil Wayne suffered from some seizure like symptoms. His private jet had to be landed so he could be hospitalized at least once, but some news outlets say it was twice. Either way, Wayne took refuge at his mamma’s house and tried to downplay the entire incident reassuring fans that he was ok.
During a recent interview with MTV to promote his new video “No Worries”, Lil Wayne casually let it slip out, just how serious his health issues are. The interview was being conducted at his New Orleans skate park and Wayne started to feel a little hot. It appears the air unit was cut off because it was deemed too noisy while the interview was being conducted. That’s when Lil Wayne revealed that he was taking seizure prevention meds. Wayne said,
“Please let them know that I have an air unit, but because of the sound, they don’t want the air on, so it’s super hot in here, I don’t want y’all to think I’m on nothing, man. I’m on seizure medicine, man, that’s all.”
When the original seizure-like symptoms occurred back in October, Waynes’ people swore up and down that it was due to dehydration and migraines. This could still be the case but Wayne’s doctors have given him specific guidelines for his own health.
Wayne explains,
“They said I gotta drink four water bottles a day, that’s what the doctors say, I just came from the doctor. I ain’t drinking four water bottles, but everything’s good.”
Here is Wayne’s interview with MTV.
