Goodbye Raptor Arms: Cee Lo Green Is Leaving The Voice For Good!
It looks like Cee Lo Green and ‘The Voice’ are ending their long relationship together. The 39-year-old recording artist went on the Ellen show the other day to announce the news.
The news was a surprise to many because he was supposed to come back for the sixth season. However, we now know that he won’t be coming back at all, but he will keep his working relationship with NBC.
He told Ellen the following,
[more…]“I’m going to continue my relationship with NBC. I have a television show development deal with them and hopefully some other talk show opportunities. But yeah, I’m going to miss The Voice too.”
Ellen seemed surprised by the news, so she asked Mr. Green to clarify.
“I’m not coming back at all. I don’t want to wear out my welcome. You know what I’m saying. I have so many other things that I want to do. I haven’t released an album in four years. I’m almost done with my album.”
While Cee Lo Green was never the most popular coach on the show. It will still be difficult for fans to see him go. He was one of the original four coaches who started the popular singing show back in 2011.
Team Cee Lo Green never did have a winner on the show, but I think we can all agree ‘Team Green’ had the best outfits.
