Columbus Short From ‘Scandal’ Involved In Nasty Bar Fight

‘Scandal‘ star Columbus Short is now involved in his own little scandal after knocking a dude out in a bar fight on March 15.

According to law enforcement sources who talked with TMZ, Short was out celebrating a friend’s engagement at Gabe’s Bar and Grill in Los Angeles. At some point during the party, a man approached Short and said, “You might be richer than me but I get my girls to buy me everything I want including your wife.”

This pissed off Short, so he came up from behind the man and sucker punched him. The impact was severe, leaving the poor dude unconscious for several minutes. Sources also say the man had a broken nose. An ambulance transported the man to a local hospital.

Short left the bar right after punching the man, but cops are now conducting a criminal investigation. The 31-year-old actor could be in a lot of trouble if cops find enough evidence to charge him.

And this isn’t the first time the actor has ended an argument with a brutal punch. Back in 2010, he was accused of breaking Jason Hill’s jaw during a pick-up basketball game. Hill was able to get a restraining order against Short after the attack.
