How are you ladies doing out there? Have you recovered from the fact that Ryan Gosling had a baby with a woman who was not you? We understand how hard it was for you to swallow but life goes on, you know? There will be other celebrities to fawn over.

For now, why don’t you try to be happy for Ryan and Eva? Maybe hearing what they named their daughter might help? According to multiple sources (first reported by TMZ) Eva and Ryan named their baby, Esmeralda Amada.

Insiders say it was important for Eva to link her daughter’s name to her family. She also played a character named Amada Juarez in the 2007 drama, We Own the Night.

So how are the new parents doing? Not bad at all, according to sources who talked with E! News.

“They’re both great, but exhausted. They know it’s going to be a little while before the baby adjusts to a schedule. Eva is so happy she’s a mom, their baby girl is perfect.”

Both Ryan’s mom and Eva’s mom have been helping them adjust to life with a baby. They have been cooking them meals and cleaning up around the house; however, that’s not going to be a permanent thing. Sources confirm they are helping out less now, “Ryan and Eva are getting more confident in doing things themselves.” The source added.

Good for them. They picked a beautiful name. It’s different and unique, but not incredibly strange like Apple or Pilot Inspektor.
