Watch As Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell And Gwen Stefani Play ‘Spin the Microphone’ With Jimmy Fallon
What does Jimmy Fallon love more than injuring himself? Making celebrities participate in goofy games on The Tonight Show. The judges of The Voice, Blake Shelton, Pharrell, Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine showed up last night to play a brand new game called Spin the Microphone.
Basically, it’s like Spin the Bottle, minus all the awkward kissing. If the microphone lands on you, there are different roads you’re allowed to take. You can either sing the song on the card or pass it to someone else standing around the table.
“This is actually the stupidest game I’ve ever heard of.” Shelton whispered after Fallon explained the rules. And even though he’s clearly playing a character, we have to think there is a little piece of him that truly believes this is the stupidest game ever.
But do you know what happens when celebrities do silly things in front of a live audience? Laughter happens, and of course Blake was the one bringing the most laughs. His version of YMCA was actually strangely comforting, and then his side performance during Gwen Stefani’s version of Hotline Bling was also pretty special.
