Kobe Bryant Drops 60 Points In Final Game Of His Career, Watch His Incredible Performance Inside! (VIDEO)
It was a magical night at L.A.’s Staples Center on Wednesday. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers to a win during his final game in the NBA. The 18-time All-Star is one of the greatest basketball players in history and has played for the Lakers for two decades, so you can bet the home crowd made sure he felt all the love last night.
And the energy flowing through the stadium powered Kobe to have one of the best games of his career. And we don’t want to hear about how the defenders might have been taking it easy on him. It doesn’t matter, the dude was on freaking fire.
He scored 60 points and led his team to a 101-96 victory against the Utah Jazz. It was a perfect night, and we’re sure every person lucky enough to be in the crowd had trouble sleeping after leaving the arena. There are probably a lot of people calling in sick to work this morning. They got that Kobe Fever for the last time.
You can watch video of his incredible performance at the bottom of this page, but before you do, take a look at what he told the crowd after the game.
“I can’t believe how fast 20 years went by. This is crazy. This is absolutely crazy. I grew up a die-hard Laker fan. I knew everything about every person that’s ever played here. Being drafted and being traded to this organization and to spend 20 years here, I mean, you can’t write something better than this. I’m more proud of the fact that — not about the championships — but about the down years, because we didn’t run. We played through all that stuff and we won our championships and we did it the right way. Thank you all for the years of support. Thank you guys for all the motivation. Thank you for all the inspiration.”
We’re going to miss you, Kobe! Thanks for all the memories.
