After the robbery, people were wondering where her security team was during this time. Family bodyguard Pascal Duvier has been protecting Kim and her family since 2012, and they have never had any issues with him.

But where was he Monday morning when she needed him the most? Well, according to the report, he was guarding Kendall and Kourtney that night/morning. So it wasn’t like he was taking a nap in his room. He was doing his job.

That hasn’t stopped the rumors from spreading. The rumors claiming Kim Kardashian fired Duvier. And those rumors heated up when Duvier deleted all traces of the reality star from his social media accounts. Some people believed this confirmed his termination.

But according to TMZ, his job is not in danger. The social media deletion was a safety measure to prevent criminals from tracking his time with Kim. Sources told PEOPLE that the Kardashians have decided to keep the bodyguard, but they also warn that he’s not family. He can be replaced.

“Pascal still works for them. He isn’t irreplaceable though. The family really likes him, but he is not a family member. The new media report isn’t making a difference for the family right now. But Kanye is evaluating his family’s needs. He is ultimately the one who decides what happens with Pascal.”

I don’t think he has anything to worry about. They seem to trust him, and that’s difficult to find in a bodyguard. You don’t want to start a new search for a bodyguard right after an event like this. That could make the family more vulnerable.
