50-Year-Old Carmen Electra Is Joining OnlyFans, Ready To “Reclaim Her Image”
If you grew up in the ’90s, chances are you remember Carmen Electra. She was a bit of a sex symbol in the ’90s, starring in over twenty episodes of Baywatch. She has made guest appearances in several tv shows throughout the years, including Summerland and Joey.
And now, at 50-years-old, Electra wants to connect with her fans like she never has before. She made the surprise announcement this week that she has joined OnlyFans.
She will provide “exclusive access to fun, edgy and playful content,” for members who subscribe to her profile. It appears right now you can subscribe to her page for free, although we’re sure certain photos/videos will be behind a paywall.
She told PEOPLE that joining the platform was an easy decision for her…
I just felt like, ‘Yeah, I need to do this,’ I, for once, have this opportunity to be my own boss and have my own creative vision to share with my fans without someone standing over me, telling me, ‘Don’t do this, don’t do that. Cover up this.’
Her page won’t only be filled with suggestive images. She also plans to include beauty tutorials, vacation content, lingerie photos, and “sexy/classic videos” in addition to interacting with her fans one-on-one.
I can’t imagine her sitting in front of the computer typing messages back and forth to hundreds of desperate dudes. You would think she’d hire an assistant for that, but hey, if you wanna believe you’re actually talking to her, live your dream.
This decision to join the adult content website comes after she took out lawsuits against several strip clubs in recent years over using her likeness without her permission.
It does feel really good to stand up for yourself. I think what we’re going through now is people are finally standing up for themselves and who they are … It’s not always easy to do, but I do respect people that can stand up for who they are and be honest about it.
Do yo’ thang, gurl. If I was a hot 50-year-old, I’d also join OnlyFans. Ain’t nothing wrong with a side hustle.
