Sharon Osbourne Says Ozzy Osbourne Is Undergoing “Major Operation” That Could Determine Rest Of His Life
We all know Ozzy Osbourne has had a lot of health issues in recent years. The dude has basically been a walking zombie for the past five years. He f**ked up his neck and back in a biking accident in 2003, and then messed it up even more in a nasty fall back in 2019. After the fall, he needed fifteen screws to be inserted in his spine.
Oh, and he’s also struggled with a drug and alcohol addiction, so you know, the dude’s body has been through a lot.
And now at 73-years-old, Ozzy is apparently going through a major operation that could determine the rest of his life, according to his wife, Sharon Osbourne. While speaking on a British talk show, Sharon revealed she was headed back to Los Angeles to be there for Ozzy.
He has a very major operation on Monday, and I have to be there. It’s really going to determine the rest of his life.
According to insiders, the surgery is to remove and realign pins in his neck and back. It’s a pretty major surgery, especially for someone of his age, according to the experts.
Ozzy is 73 and any kind of surgery when you get older is difficult. This is quite major. He’s having the pins in his neck and back realigned from when he had a fall back in 2019. He’s been in a lot of pain.
There will be a “lengthy amount of convalescence” after the surgery and Ozzy will need a nurse with him 24/7 when he returns home.
Here’s to hoping this surgery gives him some relief. You know the pain must be severe. Last month, Ozzy told Classic Rock magazine that he can barely walk.
I can’t walk properly these days. I have physical therapy every morning. I am somewhat better, but nowhere near as much as I want to be to go back on the road.
