37-Year-Old Country Singer Jake Flint Dies Just Hours After Wedding, Details Inside

Some terribly sad news to report today. A rising country star named Jake Flint has died at the young age of 37.

And to make his death even more heartbreaking, Flint had just married the love of his life, Brenda Flint, just hours before his sudden death.

In an absolutely heartbreaking post on Facebook, Brenda shared the news, talking about how they should be going through wedding photos right now. Instead, she has to pick out clothes to bury her husband in.

We should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in. People aren’t meant to feel this much pain. My heart is gone and I just really need him to come back. I can’t take much more. I need him here. I don’t understand.

Flint, who was super popular in the Oklahoma Red Dirt scene, died in his sleep. His publicist, Cliff Doyal, confirmed the news on Monday, November 28. A cause of death has not been shared at this time, but when someone dies in their sleep, you typically think of cardiac arrest or brain aneurysm.

The talented musician was just now seeing his life come together.

His manager, Brenda Cline, revealed he was set to play a number of shows in and around Oklahoma in the coming weeks.

Jake has a million friends and I’m not sure how everyone will cope with this tragic loss. We need prayers- it’s all so surreal. Please please pray for his new wife Brenda, Jake’s precious mother, his sister and the rest of his family and friends.
