GMA Co-Anchors, Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes, Delete Instagram Accounts Following Alleged Affair!
Typically, morning television doesn’t provide a lot of drama. That’s usually reserved for nighttime programming, but Good Morning America is providing us with some delicious drama this week.
According to multiple reports, married ‘Good Morning America’ co-anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have left their respective partners after having a steamy affair that lasted months.
Sources claim their wild romance began in March when they started training together for the New York City half marathon. Back in May, a few people saw them “canoodling” in bars.
One staffer at ABC News reported the following:
They have a very cozy relationship on air, but that is what is expected. But they were very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair secret. The producers at ‘GMA’ are shocked to hear they are having an affair.
Insiders say they both left their spouses in August. This was all kept secret until the Daily Mail broke the story wide open when they obtained photos of the pair holding hands and cozying up to one another.
Two weeks before Thanksgiving, they went on a little trip together to a remote cottage where Holmes was seen grabbing Robach’s butt.
Damn.
After the story broke, Robach deleted her Instagram account, presumably to avoid the comments from fans. Holmes’ account was deleted a couple weeks earlier. Maybe he knew the report was coming.
Reps for both parties have not commented on the claims, and their ‘GMA’ co-anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos made no mention of the reports during Thursday morning’s show. I suppose it’s not good for their family-friendly brand.
Robach had been married to actor Andrew Shue since 2010. Holmes and his wife married the same year. He shares one kid with his wife, so that makes his situation even more complicated.
We’ll keep you posted as more details become available.
