Jeremy Renner Is Apparently Recovering “Like A Mofo” According To Evangeline Lilly

How has Jeremy Renner been doing? You’ll remember he nearly died in a horrific snowplow accident at his home in Reno on New Year’s Day. The snowplow ran over his body, crushing his chest and breaking over 30 bones in his body.

It’s truly a miracle he’s even alive right now, but even more surprising? He’s already out of the hospital bed, according to his longtime friend and fellow actor, Evangeline Lilly.

During an interview with Access Hollywood, the ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp‘ star revealed she just saw Renner at his home the other night.

He was already mobile. He has recovered like a mofo. I walked in his house and got chicken skin, ’cause I was like, ‘Why are you mobile? Why are you mobile? What’s happening?’

She explained that she expected to find him still in bed, groaning in pain, but instead he was getting around in a wheelchair and laughing with his friends and family.

It’s a miracle, a straight-up miracle. He’s made of something really tough, that guy. You’ve always been able to see that in him. He is recovering incredibly, and I’m so grateful.

We don’t like to toss out the word “miracle” too often, but it’s hard not to describe this as a miracle. I mean, the dude was run over by this machine and was completely crushed.

And somehow he’s still alive to talk about it. Incredible.
