Sources Say Taylor Swift And ‘The 1975’ Frontman Matty Healy Are Dating And Ready To Make It Public!
As some of you already know, Taylor Swift and her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn announced their split last month after six years of dating. And even though the split was just confirmed last month, insiders say they originally called it quits back in February.
Now that Swift is single, people have been trying to figure out who she may date next, and it looks like the leading theory right now is ‘The 1975‘ frontman, Matty Healy.
You know, the dude who went viral for like three weeks straight for kissing fans at his concert?
There’s a report, which appears to have originated from The Sun, that claims Swift and Healy are currently dating and they plan to go public with the relationship during Swift’s upcoming tour stop in Nashville this weekend.
Personally, I don’t see this happening. I’m not fully convinced they’re dating, but even if they are, I highly doubt they are going to make it public/official this weekend. That just seems too soon for Swift. You have to remember, she’s a mega superstar with a huge PR team, and every move is calculated to some degree. I doubt they’d want her parading around with a new man just a few weeks after announcing her breakup with a man she was going to marry.
But we’ll see what happens. It’s worth noting that Matty and Taylor performed onstage together back in January, and they’ve known each other for around 10 years now, so there is a connection there.
Is it a romantic connection? Perhaps. Some fans have speculated that The 1975’s song, A Change of Heart, is about Swift.
