Jimmy Kimmel Talks About The Craziest LA Party He Ever Attended
Jimmy Kimmel has been in Hollywood for a long time, and back in the day, he was a little more edgy than he is today. If you remember, he co-created the raunchy comedy series, The Man Show, back in the ’90s, alongside Adam Carolla.
These days, he’s more corporate, hosting his nightly talk show on ABC and hosting the Oscars every single year. He’s very much in the Hollywood circle, but sometimes he still feels outside of it.
During a recent interview on The Howard Stern Show, Kimmel was joined by his wife, Molly McNearney, and they talked about a recent Hollywood party they attended.
It was at Paul McCartney’s home, and all the biggest stars were there, including Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Aniston, Mick Jagger, Steven Spielberg, Ringo Starr, and many many more. There were reportedly over 100 guests, and all of them were incredibly famous.
Kimmel revealed he felt a little out of place…
I think what you do at a party like that is you gravitate toward the people you already know, and you go, ‘Can you believe that this is happening and that we’re here?’ And you kinda leave it at that.
He did admit to starting a conversation with Springsteen, and he claims even Bruce was shocked by all the people at the party…
He’s funny, you know? We had a good chat. We talked about Elvis, and we talked about — I don’t know — just being in LA. We even had that moment, like, ‘Can you believe this party?’ Even Bruce Springsteen was like, ‘This is some party!’
If you’re wondering, Swift was there with Travis Kelce. Kimmel said they looked good together. He also claimed Swift tapped into the speaker system at the house to play some music from her phone.
That’s a bold move in Paul’s home.
