Here She Is! New Mother Chrissy Teigen Shares First Photo Of Her Daughter Luna!

On Monday, we reported the happy news that Chrissy Teigen gave birth to her first child with husband John Legend. Their little baby girl was born on April 14 and weighed 6 pounds and 11 ounces.

And as we reported, they named their daughter, Luna Simone Stephens. Most people assumed it would be a few weeks before they introduced Luna to the world, but Chrissy surprised everyone yesterday by sharing the photo you see below to her Instagram account.

The photo shows her holding Luna outside, and the family dog appears to be right by their side, most likely protecting them from any dangerous squirrels.

The adorable photo has over 700k likes on Instagram. If there was a cat just chilling in the background, they probably could have reached a million likes by now.

So how are the new parents truly doing? Because we all know social media lies. You can post your “highlights” and never let anyone know what is really going on in your life. For all we know, John and Chrissy are hating this parent lifestyle.

Except…not really. Not at all. Sources say they are doing just fine.

John and Chrissy are in such a joyful place with their healthy baby girl Luna. They are surrounded by family and close friends. Chrissy and John can’t stop gushing over Luna. She is perfect! Luna looks like a mini Chrissy and has some of John’s features.

That’s great to hear. We are super happy for them. As we said in the last post, they’re going to be amazing parents.
