Lady Gaga Bankrupt? Don’t you Believe it!

Believe it or not, Lady Gaga has been bankrupt before.

I really don’t believe it myself, just like she says that money means nothing to her. Don’t rich a$$ people always say that? Telling me that, is like telling a starving man that you threw the food out because it was undercooked!

What I didn’t know is that for her highly successful Monster’s Ball Tour Lady Gaga used her own money to finance all the changes and suggestions that she had for the tour. It was originally supposed to be a tour with Kanye West. The tour split and Gaga revised the theme to reflect NY, and the storyline portraying her and her friends rushing to a ball in the city.
The tour became the highest grossing tour by a debut headlining artist and one of the highest grossing tours of all time.

OK, Pause – Do you really think her management would let her pay out of her own pocket to the point where she couldn’t afford it.  If they did, was it a bigger pay day from the $227 Million Dollar Tour?

So do you really thing lady Gaga was bankrupt, or is she just Talkin’ Smack?
If you are a huge Gaga Fan, then you will love the article in the Financial Times. If you are not, then don’t bother, its way too long and has way too much information about someone that I think is talented but overrated. Oops! Did I type that out loud?
