Sheen doesn’t win in Detroit – Show bombs – Video Clip

I knew this was going to be a train wreck, because we were all sick of Charlie before this tour of his even kicked off. It was too much and it went from entertaining to sad…and that was a month ago.
Well the sadness continued. During his show in Detroit, fans booed Charlie Sheen and demanded their money back. Charlie replied once to the crowd, “I’ve already got your money dude”.
Wow – that does sound horrible!!
Due to the internet, the 70 minute show was still going on when the tweets started pouring in, and the hash tag used wasn’t #winning, it was #bombing.

HOW BAD WAS CHARLIE SHEEN?
Charlie had his show at the infamous 5,100 seat Fox Theatre, where 4700 seats were sold some going for as much as $75.
Fans said that they were expecting to see the colorful rants that have made him an internet star, but after paying that much money, they didn’t think it was too funny.
Some of the fans flew in for the show, so add that to the ticket cost!
Sheen promised that his one man show would give the fans the real story.
THE SHOW STARTED WELL
Charlie started off well. You figure, “How could he fail when everyone is expecting to see a lunatic”. The place was full of his people who came to support him. When Charlie walked out the crowd was on their feet and stood and cheered as his Goddesses took the stage on either side of him.
The women even shared a kiss! But even that couldn’t save the show.
The booing started when Kurt Fox came on to do his routine. There were reports saying that Fox was heard muttering, “These jokes are so bad I don’t even want to finish them”.
When Sheen took the stage, there was not a single empty seat. He then put on a Charlie Harper (his character on Two and a Half Men) style bowling shirt, ripped it off, and burned it. Then he whips out a Major League style Detroit Tigers baseball Jersey.
All of this failed to amuse the crowd. This wasn’t Sheen’s fault at all, it was the crowd. Sheen delivered exactly what he promised. Insanity.
Amongst other let downs, Snoop was supposed to perform, but instead the show ended with a Snoop video.

He is expected to play in Chicago tonight (Sunday April 3rd), but I wonder if the show will make it to NY.

Charlie might need to hire some creative writers, post pone a few shows for rehearsal and get back to winning.

For those who brought tickets – you could be part of history. One of the most expensive, biggest, train wrecks since Denzel’s train in “Unstoppable”.

I think Charlie really won’t be winning until he gets the help that he needs. It’s not that Charlie is not delivering; it’s that the fans don’t really know what they want to see.
