Sara Gilbert who now stars on “The Talk” and is openly gay has broken up with her partner Allison Adler.  Allison herself is a Hollywood heavyweight.  She has either produced or co-produced some huge shows:

• No Ordinary Family
• Chuck
• Just shoot Me
• Family Guy …to just name a few.

Allison and Sara Gilbert have officially thrown in the towel.  They have been together for 10 years and have 2 children together (by way of artificial insemination).

Of course they say the break up was amicable.

Allison was the elder in the relationship at 44, and Sara Gilbert is 36.

Gilbert came out about her sexuality back in 2010, and talks comfortably about her home life on the show that she co-created “The Talk”.  She gave no hints of troubles at home, so this is a shocker to some fans.

The two plan to share custody of their 6-year-old son Levi and 4-year-old daughter Sawyer.
