Sheikh Mansour Hires Kanye and Jay-Z to Perform in Dubai – Guess How Much He Paid them? ..and Why They Should Have Asked for More!

So…were you thinking about throwing a party and inviting Jay-Z and Kanye to perform?  It will cost you about $6 million dollars.  Arguably the two biggest names in hip hop, (because I know there will be arguments about that), got paid to perform to a packed, sweet 16 party in Dubai.

SO THE QUESTION IS…..WHO IN DUBAI HAS THAT MUCH MONEY. 

The answer?  Everyone.  But there is more to this story.  The party was for the 16 year old sister of Sheikh Mansour.  He is the owner of Manchester City – which is an English Soccer Team.  The man is worth 21.2 Billion Dollars.  That’s a lot of stacks for anyone, but at only age 42, The Sheikh is the one that is “Ballin’ so Hard”.  He is the half brother of the current President of UAE, made tons of money in Oil, and owns about 9% of Daimler.

HOW MUCH IS $6 MILLION REALLY WORTH TO THE SHEIKH?

The average American is worth $182,000 (as of 2010).  $6 Million Dollars to the Sheikh is like paying .029% of your net worth to have Jay Z and Kanye perform at your little sisters party.  That would be the equivalent of paying about $52.70 for the regular person.  If you ask me, they should have negotiated more!
