Nick Carter Skips Sister’s Funeral To Perform a Concert – Not Cool
You read that correctly, he skipped out on his sister’s funeral to do a freakin’ concert.
Leslie Carter’s funeral was held on Sunday at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville, NY. Nick performed a concert, the third one since his sister’s death, he never stopped to lend his family any support.
He must have a good excuse right? Wrong. He made the following statement to TMZ,
“I wanted to be at my sister’s funeral, but my family has always had a complicated dynamic. There are so many emotions for me surrounding the loss of my sister. I am trying to stay healthy, positive, and focused.”
Really? This is something that you don’t get to attend again. Even if it made him feel horrible, and he fought with his family during the entire time, this is the funeral of your sister. You don’t miss this. Can you imagine not attending? It’s selfish, inconsiderate and immature.
He thinks his family went out of their way to insure that he was not included. My family would have to hold the funeral service on the moon, for me not to attend.
Nick doesn’t realize the days of the “Back Street Boys” are Over. He’s a glimmer of the star he used to be. GET OVER YOURSELF. Even the message he released on his website, oozed of “I love Me”
“Nick Carter is thankful to the many people and the fans who have shared their wishes and prayers during this tragic time. We want to let the fans know the tour will go on as promised,” Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform.”
“She loved to watch me perform” – HA! This will come back and haunt him for sure. That just ain’t right. I got one word for you: K-A-R-M-A.
