Nick Cannon Reveals He’s Got A Lupus Like Auto-Immune Disease

We knew that something fishy was going on with Nick, and I every time we hear something else, the condition gets more and more serious.  This time is no exception.  The 31 year old has revealed that he actually has an autoimmune disease.

He revealed details to “People” regarding his most recent hospitalization for blood clots,

 “I thought I was getting better and then that happened, so that kind of came out of nowhere,”

A blood clot is what eventually ended up killing rap legend “Heavy D”.

It was a long chain of events of health issues.  The blood clots were the cause if a kidney infection which was ultimately caused by an autoimmune disease,

He went on to explain that’s it’s a lupus like disease and he feels blessed to be alive,

“They kind of say [my] autoimmune [disease] is – like a lupus type of thing, but no one else in my family has it.”

“I feel blessed to be alive,” he said. “If it wasn’t discovered, I don’t know [what would have happened].”

Mariah and Nick stepped out last week in NYC while Carey performed at Gotham Hall.  They both looked healthy and wonderful.  Let’s hope Nick continues to follow the doctor’s advice and slow things down.
