Coolio & Oldest Son Arrested Separately Both end up in the Same Jail!

Let’s start with the oldest son, because this is right out of a movie.

THE SON GRTIS AKA ARTIS

Artis’ real name is actually Grtis, who was actually  arrested back in November 14, 2011 and his case will be brought in front of a judge on Monday.  He has been held without bail since his arrest. That’s how serious his crime was.  The crime involved guns, hookers and a safe with money!

THE HOOKER AND THE MARK

The call girl goes by the name of Shantrice Wilkerson.

Shantrice was working the Luxor night club one night last October, when she met a would be “John” named Joseph Hall.  Not knowing she was a hooker, she flirted with Joseph and told him that she always dreamt of having sex on a pile of money.

Not finding this odd, (men have big egos if you haven’t noticed), he asked if $5G’s was enough to satisfy Shantrice’s fantasy.  They make plans to head back to Hall’s apartment to get the $5000 out of his safe and to make Shantrice’s dreams come true.  Before they start, Joseph’s bubble is burst when he finds out that she is a hooker and that the roll in the dough is going to cost him.  Hall wants no part of this and leaves….by himself.

SHANTRICE AND GRTIS – GHETTO BONNIE & CLYDE

Hall had said way too much to Shantrice.  She knew where he lived and that he had $5000 at is apartment.  Shantrice hooks up with Coolio’s son and they decide to rob Hall, allegedly at gun point.

They bust in to Joseph Hall’s apartment, take the whole safe, 2 iPads, 2 Laptops, and passports amongst other things.   Needless to say, the two were caught after Joseph was able to identify them.

LIKE SON LIKE FATHER , HOWEVER COOLIO’S ARREST IS BORING…

Maybe we should call him Who-lio.  As I do when a rapper gets arrested, we refer to them by their government name, Artis Leon Ivey Jr. (Tee hee hee). We haven’t heard much from the “Gangsta’s Paradise” rapper in years and now he makes headlines by getting arrested on Friday.  He had a warrant for failure to appear in court for 2 traffic tickets he received almost two years ago.

Coolio was actually the passenger of a vehicle that was stopped at 2:20 AM near the Las Vegas strip.  They ran his license and the warrant was found.  I’m not sure what is more embarrassing for the former Gangster rapper, the fact that he was arrested at age 48, the fact that he was sent to the same jail as his son, or that he was pulled over in a Nissan Versa!

At least Coolio was let out on bail.
