Halle Berry Engaged – Rumor Finally Confrimed by Olivier Martinez himself.

I love how these celebrities try to clean things up like we are stupid.  Olivier Martinez opened a new restaurant in South  Beach and like anyone in the restaurant business knows, the press becomes your best friend when you are trying to get the word out.  So of course the engagement questions surfaced.

SO ARE OLIVIER AND HALLE ENGAGED?

Yes! Olivier confirmed it himself.  When the question was bluntly put in front of the French actor he responded with a simple,

“Yes, of course it’s true.”

As if it was public knowledge.  As if their publicists have confirmed it.  As if we were even crazy for thinking they weren’t.

ALTHOUGH….THERE IS A LIAR IN OUR MIDST!

That liar is the designer that is taking credit for the ring design.  Jewelry designer Gurhan Orhan told People.com that Martinez purchased a diamond and emerald ring as an engagement ring.  That was back in January.

Martinez says that Gurhan Orhan was actually not the designer of the ring.

“There is a jeweler taking credit for doing the ring and it’s a lie! They have nothing to do with this,”

Apparently the “real” designer is Robert Mazlo from Paris.  Martinez refers to him as a real artist.  He says that the jeweler’s family has been designing for kings and queens for centuries.

I guess nothing but the best for Halle.  Third time might be a charm, but I suspect she is a bucket full of crazy.  Like I always say, never say never – referring to Halle Berry’s declaration on Oprah that she would never re-marry.
