Kim Kardashian Responds Back to John Hamm’s Comments – Rob Kardashian’s also Got Her Back. [video]

I kind of knew that this was going to at least get a response from Kim, but thanks to TMZ we also have a response from Rob as well.  DING DING!

ROUND 1: John Hamm comes out swinging. 

John Hamm is the guy who plays Don Draper on the new hit “Mad Men”.  The issue with the show and the audience is that it’s large and small at the same time.  Made Men is a show you either love or hate.  It’s racist, sexist, and a list of other “ist’s” that are exactly indicative of the 1960 era it where it takes place.  All the things that make the show great; also make the audience limited.  However, that limited audience are a bunch of fanatics.

The 40 year old Hamm was being interviewed by Elle UK and commented on being elite.  In doing so, Paris and Kim Kardashian were thrown under the bus,

“We’re at a place where the idea of being ‘elite’ is somehow considered negative.  Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated.  Being a f ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly. … It’s celebrated. It doesn’t make sense to me.”

Basically he called Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton “F” ing idiots.

ROUND 2: KIM TAKES THE HIGH ROAD

Kim’s reaction was delayed but I thought it was rather appropriate. I would bet that she consulted her publicist before tweeting out her response.  I have to say, I was impressed with the calm, professional complementary way that she responded.  Definitely the high road; Her response,

Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.’

“I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another.”

As one reader put it,

Kim K got famous by letting Brandy’s little brother Ray J pound her gigantic posterior while recording it on video for all the world to see on the internet. That made her famous. All the other things stem from the twisted fascination with her massive hindquarters. For her to attempt to equivocate herself with a gifted actor like Jon Hamm is a joke.

Although I actually agree with the reader, who would actually admit that they are famous for nothing, besides perhaps Snooki.

ROUND 3: ROB KARDASHIAN CHIMES IN
