Leonardo DiCaprio & The Great TYPO, in The Great Gatsby Movie Trailer!
There was a huge buzz at the release of the first trailer for “The Great Gatsby” last week and with good reason. The The $127 million dollar production by director Baz Luhrmann’s is due to be released on Christmas day and promises to live up to all the hype.
The Trailer was a hit because it combined modern day music and feel with the old school setting of the 20’s. It intro’s with a Jay-Z / Kanye Track. Tobey McGuire and Leonardo DiCaprio both look in rare form. The movie is truly epic and will be shown in 2D and 3D. All of the props and scenes are huge, colorful and grandiose. If you didn’t want to see it before, you will after the trailer. This is all the things that trailers were intended for. Except one thing…..someone forgot to use spell check!
A reader of the Entertainment Weekly website pointed out a huge misspelling on the billboard in the old Time Square signage. The infamous Broadway act Ziegfeld Follies is spelled with the e and I transposed. Thee ole…”i before e except after c”. Gets them every time. Of course, I’m not one to talk. I’m sure at least every other post I write is riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. The difference is my budget is 127 cents, not 127 Million dollars.
If you haven’t seen it yet, and can get over a small spelling error, then watch the trailer below – this has Academy award written all over it.
