Burger King Worker Busted As Internet Users Track Him Down.
I’m not sure if you ever been to the site 4chan, frankly I hate it. It’s just a bunch of crappy pictures with crappy comments that are racist, sexist, homophobic and useless. One visit and you will realize that there are way more pathetic people on this planet then you originally thought.
That being said, it’s truly the Wild Wild West. That’s why this Burger King employee thought that he could put a photo of himself stepping in bins of lettuce with his sneakers ! he posted a photo of just that with a caption

Boy was this guy dumb. What he failed to realize is the demographic that he was posting to are probably Burger King’s #1 customers. A bunch of nerdy, internet sex freaks who pound Redbull and go to Mcdonald’s and Burger king three or 4 times per day.
He also didn’t realize that this same demographic is smart enough to track you down for stepping on their lettuce.
4 chan users banned together and used the GPS data in the image to locate the culprit right to the town of Mayfield heights, Ohio. They contacted the local news media and found the exact address and phone number of the Burger King where the lettuce stomping occurred.
In what was a total of 15 minutes since the picture was posted the employee was located. It was explained later that he was a long time employee of that restaurant. Burger King didn’t care and fired the employee and the manager. Burger King released a statement:
Burger King Corp. has recently been made aware of a photo posted on a social networking site that allegedly shows a BURGER KING restaurant employee violating the company’s stringent food handling procedures. Food safety is a top priority at all BURGER KING restaurants and the company maintains a zero-tolerance policy against any violations such as the one in question.
The restaurant where this photo was allegedly taken is independently-owned and operated by a BURGER KING franchisee. The franchisee has taken swift action to investigate this matter and terminated the employee involved in this incident.
As one 4chan user wrote after the incident, and I couldn’t agree more,
