Did 50 Cent Just Call Kim Kardashian Trash?
What I think was made to be taken positively, but in the 50 Cent-ish way convey subliminal jabs, his comments regarding Kim K. straddle the fence at best.
LET TAKE A STEP BACK TO KANYE’S PERFECT B*TCH…..
Kim Kardashian has entered the hip hop world and in doing so, as everyone knows by now, has been called a B*tch, but in a good way. Her Boo Kanye, dedicated a song to her which he premiered last Friday at the PH-D Rooftop Lounge. After playing 45 minutes of music, 20 to 25 tracks almost completely without lyrics a song came on that not only contained lyrics but also a chorus, that went something like this,
“My perfect bitch, my perfect bitch”
After rumors hit the streets that this was an ode to Kim, West cleared it up by confirming via a simple tweet:
“I wrote the song Perfect Bitch about Kim,”
Rumors swirled again regarding Kim’s reaction to being called a b*tch, which she squashed by saying that she loves it,
“I’m honored. I love it. I know he doesn’t mean it in a negative way when he says the word ‘bitch.’ The song talks about how he was with so many other girls, but could never find the right one until he met me.”
ENTER 50 CENT’S COMMENTARY
After a week of swirl, Fif’ then weighed in on the situation, adding his two or 50cents –
“I mean…if that man feel like she perfect, then she’s perfect. He could mean it and you’ll end up singing the words to it because he’s Kanye. You know how it is? One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, Is there a perfect chick?] I’m not sure. The smartest guys I know have lost being a bad judge of character in that area.”
A lot can be interpreted from that statement which is exactly what Fif wants and how he likes to keep things interesting. The only thing that is certain is that he respects Kanye’s ability to make good music. After that, the rest is left up to interpretation.
Is he saying that he doubts Kim is all she’s cracked up to be? Maybe the comment is innocent and I’m making something out of nothing (which is half a gossip bloggers job), but 50 is talented enough and articulate enough to make his point without referring to Kim Kardashian as “Trash”. Not only that, I think he’s insinuating that Yeezi is getting played. He’s saying Kanye might not be a dummy, but the wrong head might be doing the thinking.
Personally, I think he’s right. The break up will be ugly. Hell has no fury like a broken hearted Kanye.
