The White House Releases Photo of President Obama Bustin His Heat

Gun talks have been heated all year and things were no different when Obama was interviewed in The New Republic magazine.  In efforts to show that he wasn’t totally anti-guns, Obama stated during the interview,

“Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time,”

“Not the girls,  but oftentimes guests of mine go up there. And I have a profound respect for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations. And I think those who dismiss that out of hand make a big mistake.”

After the statement was made, the right wing media went wild releasing mocking photos of the president armed and one congresswoman even challenged him to a skeet shooting contest.  Everyone was skeptical doing all but calling Obama an outright liar.

In effort to silence the critics, the White House released the photo of Obama looking down the barrel of a rifle and bustin off shots.  The photo is said to have been taken last August at Camp David.

When asked why no one had seen the pictures or heard of the Presidents love of skeet shooting before,

Jay Carney, the White House press secretary, replied simply,

Because when he goes to Camp David, he goes to spend time with his family and friends and relax, not to produce photographs.”
