Elton John Cancels Concert Due to Medical Related Issues.

In a string of cancelled concert performances from Bieber, Gaga and Rihanna, Elton John’s name can now be added to the A- list.

Elton John cancelled his Friday night show due to medical reasons.  This sucked for would be concert goers because the cancellation took place literally hours before the concert.  Ticketmaster announced it on their website, but like most normal people you are not checking ticketmaster.com before getting ready to go to a concert.

The concert was to take place at The Birmingham Jefferson Complex Arena where they have been prepping for the show all week. The venue sent out a formal statement telling people where and how they can get refunds for tickets purchased.

The 65 year old Elton John suffered a respiratory infection back in May of last year.  There has been no additional information provided on his current condition or if it was respiratory related.
