Lil’ Wayne Gets Back to the Basics On New Album

Now that we all know Lil’ Wayne is not facing certain death in a hospital room somewhere, it’s safe to talk about his newest (and possibly last) solo album. The album is Wayne’s 10th album and it appears like he is going back to what made him so successful in the past; degrading women, talking about his penis and confusing that heck out of his fans with his questionable lyrics.

I Am Not a Human Being II is filled with the kind of craziness you would expect from Lil’ Wayne. If you’re expecting more songs like, “How to Love” you will be very disappointed. Instead, you’ll hear lyrics such as,

I’m in the crib butt naked bitch/ She say my d – – – could be the next black president.” and, “See me walking with a limp, that’s my gun walk. I don’t do no arguing, I let the gun talk.”

If you haven’t figured out by now, this is probably not an album you want to listen to with your parents. Make sure you put on a pair of headphones for this masterpiece.

If there is one message to take from this album, it’s that Lil’ Wayne is a big fan of his penis. Not only does he think it could be the next black president, but he also compares it to the Transformer robot, ‘Megatron.’ Which just sounds terrifying if you ask me. He probably has a better shot at the whole president thing, considering almost all of the past presidents have been major dicks, anyways.

Basically, his latest album sounds just like a lot of other “rap” albums that have come out recently. Songs filled with bitches and violence, it’s kind of like they’re all seeing who can be the most graphic. Who can sound the “baddest” and gain the most respect. Which is kind of disappointing because Lil’ Wayne does have moments of greatness, he could be so much better than he is. He provides glimpses of his greatness in a few songs on the new album. Critics have spoken highly about the tracks, “Days and Days,” “God Bless Amerika,” and a love song titled, “Back to You.”

I Am Not a Human Being II features guest performances by, Drake, 2-Chainz and Nicki Minaj even gets back to her roots in the song, “Lay it Down.

So, if you’re a fan of Lil’ Wayne and love hearing about his masterful penis, well, this is the album for you. However, if you’re one of those people like me who can only handle Lil’ Wayne in small doses, I suggest just picking out the few decent songs on the album.
