Pat Houston Suicide Attempt? Did Whitney Houston’s Sister in Law Try to End her Life?

It hasn’t exactly been easy for the Houston family lately, with the loss of Whitney Houston and that weird thing Bobbi Kristina has going with her “brother.” It’s definitely been a year to forget, and just yesterday it looked like things were going to get much worse. Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law, Pat Houston wrote a very concerning post on her Facebook that made her friends and family worry about her well being.  Pat wrote on her Facebook,

“Sometimes you just feel like giving up on life and its many challenges. And for the first time in my life I’m tired…and I want to finally rest. I love you guys.” 

Sounds like a suicide note, right? Well, that’s what some concerned family members thought, so they called the police to report an attempted suicide. Paramedics arrived to Pat’s house shortly after the call and found Pat in bed with bottle of pills next to her. However, Pat woke up when the paramedics arrived and explained to them that it was pain medication for her back, and that she had to take it to get a little sleep. They ended up taking her to the hospital as precaution, but she was released shortly after arriving.

Something doesn’t sound quite right. We’re no experts in suicide notes, but that Facebook post sure does sound like one. Even if she didn’t try to commit suicide, it certainly sounds like it might be on her mind. Hopefully she gets the help she needs before it’s too late.
