Khole Kardashian Defending Her Man – Lamar is Not a Scam Artist!!

Yesterday we reported on the alleged charity scam Lamar Odom was running with his charity, “Cathy’s Kids.” It was reported that the charity has not donated any money to cancer research even though the charity claims to be raising money for that exact reason. Well, now Khole Kardashian is sticking up for her man in a new blog post. Khole wrote on her blog,

“No charitable funds were misused, and the IRS has repeatedly given Cathy’s Kids a clean bill of health, confirming that there were no improprieties.”

She also made it clear that the charity was not started strictly for cancer research. She wrote,

“A decision was ultimately made that the charity should…enrich the lives of underprivileged inner-city youth. It accomplished that goal. Cathy’s kids helped fund multiple AAU basketball teams providing underprivileged youth with opportunities enriching their lives, providing financial support for coaching and travel to tournaments.”

She certainly makes a compelling case, but the president of the AAU told TMZ that the charity has never donated to them, “Cathy’s kids has never donated to us. They have never, ever contributed to us. On Sunday morning it was mentioned that Cathy’s Kids has contributed to AAU basketball teams…that is an incorrect statement.” Henry Forrest said. Henry did add that it is possible that Lamar used the money to finance local teams that were allowed to participate in AAU events, but those teams are not registered with the AAU.

What a mess! I hope this all gets straightened out because I really don’t want to believe the ESPN report that was trying to make the claim Odom gave the money to his former high school basketball coach.
